What to read? 1/19 and 1/ 22

Friday Jan. 19
we will continue our discussion of McLellan's chapter, "The Thought" in his Karl Marx. A copy of this is on reserve for Joe and Jesse.

Monday, January 22
we will begin Fischer's The Essential Marx, reading chapter 1, "The Dream of the Ideal Man" and chapter 2,
Creative Labor." Beth Ocon has ordered the book for the library, but it still hasn't arrived yet. So, until it does, I will be putting copies of the readings on reserve.

Wednesday Jan. 24 and Friday January 26, I will be out of town for our denomination's Christian Action Commission meeting. We're working on resolutions on pornography and capital punishment. Should be fun. See you again on the 29th!
